Most of my summer consisted of running with the team, but there were a few other things I did, such as visiting my dad in Shreveport, going to the beach with my family, going on a mission trip, and going to Houston on a fishing expedition with family. While the fishing trip was short, it was certainly adventurous. The first day we had caught no fish at all, but on the second we caught about 100 fish and kept 13. That trip was a very interesting one. From staying out on the bay all day to the 6 foot water moccasin next to me, it was completely fun. In addition, my mom remarried, so I gained a stepdad, stepbrother, and stepsister. My summer was filled with many exciting things, but am I happy that I am now starting high school.
It sounds like a really great summer overall! Boot camp was definitely a highlight of my summer also.
ReplyDeleteYou caught quite a bit of fish. I have to agree, Boot Camp was pretty great.
